I have a wonderfully talented friend who crafts custom made hand stamped practically pure silver charms. She is the creator behind Inner Child Designs, cute name right? I am probably her biggest fan because I own 5 of her pieces. The first piece she gave me was right after my first daughter was born and the second charm, the one in the picture above, she gave me for my daughter’s first birthday. She said “The first birthday is about the mommy anyways, right?” And it was.
See that little girl up there?
The one holding my face as I kiss her forehead.
I made that.
She is mine.
And she holds my entire heart in that tiny, dimpled hand.
I’m always heading over to her site to see her latest deigns and creations so imagine my surprise when my charm pops up as a feature on her website!
There is was. My little girls’ names on the charm around my neck that she designed just for me. Ahhh, I feel so famous.
What I love most about her charms is how incredibly unique they are. I’m constantly being stopped and asked “Where did you get that necklace?” I’m not gonna lie, if she wasn’t such a good friend, I’d tell people “You know, I just don’t remember.” Can’t blame a girl for wanting to be one-of-a-kind.
I also find that I fiddle with my charm too. Whenever I’m away from my girls and thinking about them, my hand just naturally gravitates towards my charm, something my husband noticed when we finally had a date night that didn’t involve a cartoon and a bowlful of popcorn.
If you go onto facebook and become a fan of Inner Child Designs she has codes for 10% off this month for Mother’s Day.
No, I’m not getting paid to say any of this. She is just a great friend who is truly talented and I wanted to give her a huge shout out!
So go check her out. You won’t be disappointed.

Honey that’s a beautiful photograph. You should feel proud and accomplished to have made such gorgeous girls.
Sometimes I watch my daughter and my heart swells with pride.
She’ll turn her angelic face toward me and I marvel at how I, ME, was lucky enough to have produced such a gorgeous child.
Then she speaks…
